Frequently Asked Questions:

Questions you want to know the answer to, that have been asked before:

- Why Should I pay a professional Photographer?

So Uncle Fred’s, mothers, friends, granddaughter owns a very good camera and is willing to take pictures at possibly THE biggest day of your life and you’re wondering why I should ask for payment.

There have been so many cases where a friend or relative has offered to take the pictures and they have completely ruined because of the persons inexperience of controlling crowds or general wedding day experience.

The decision is up to you, but make sure you are happy to deal with the consequences of not choosing a professional.

- Are you insured?

Yes, for our peace of mind and yours, we are fully insured. We have both Public Liability and Professional Indemnity Insurance.

- Do you give discount for mid-week weddings?

With being a Wedding Photographer, weekends are clearly the busiest time for us but we are determine to treat our clients fairly and as such we spend the same amount of time, dedication and planning on each and every wedding we cover.

As a result of this we are unable to offer discount for Weddings that take place during the week.

- Can I customise my Wedding Option?

Yes, you can change just about everything on your chosen Wedding Option from more time to additional photographers.

- Can our friends and family take pictures at the wedding?

You Wedding Day is not only one of the most exciting times of your life it will be a brilliant celebrations for all who attend and we encourage everyone to capture their own unique angle of the day.

Although we encourage this, we ask that all guests refrain from taking photographs at pinnacle points throughout the day such as the ceremony or the formal group shots because if I cannot work in my normal way then it is not guaranteed I will capture everything.

- Do you cover more than one wedding a day?

Simple answer, NO, never.

We only ever book in one wedding per day, whether you book us for two hours or nine, we will only have your wedding or event scheduled for that day.

This means we can dedicate our full time and attention to your wedding and give you the best service possible.

- Are there travel and accommodation costs?

All travel expenses are covered within an eighty-mile radius of Liverpool City Centre and as such we will be comfortable travelling back after your wedding.

For weddings further afield, travel and accommodation would need to be provided, again, this is something that can be discusses in detail when we meet.

- Formal Photographs - How much time should I allocate?

This all depends how many formal images you want us to capture.

As with anything from the day, spending more time on formal images will reduce the time there is to allocate to other things, but as each Wedding we cover is as individual as the couple we can talk about this in more details should ou choose us.

- Can we meet you before booking?

Yes, I wouldn’t have it any other way, in-fact we suggest you meet any supplier that is going to be there throughout the day such as Caterers, Photographers, DJs etc.

We need you to be as happy, relaxed and confident in us on the day and that won’t be the case if it’s the first time we meet.

On the day, having already met, you’ll be able to relax and enjoy the excitement of the day knowing full well that we are capturing the great moments.

- Do you provide a written contract?

Yes, we have a written contract.

Unlike other photographers we believe that a written contract allows both you and ourselves to understand completely what will and won’t happen before, on and after you wedding day.

The contract clearly stipulates what is to be expected from both parties, including time frames etc.

- Can we see a full wedding?

YES, unlike some photographers who show you galleries or blog posts of their favourite or best from the day to showcase their work, we at Antler Photography believe that this is one of the most important thing that any couple should do.

Viewing an entire wedding not only showcases the uniqueness of their images but demonstrates how the photographer works in different conditions, from the ceremony to the reception and everything in-between.

All of our Galleries show images from the whole time we were in attendance, giving you a complete understanding from the second you visit our site.

- I am getting married in 2015 can I book now?

Yes, the earlier the better when it comes to your wedding photography.

As soon as you’re happy to have us cover your day contact us and we can arrange a meeting to confirm everything.

- How long will it take until I get my images?

Each images goes through strategic professional post-processing to make sure you have the highest quality images possible from your big day, with this we allow up to twelve weeks after the big day for the images to be finalised.

- What if I cancel my wedding?

First and foremost you must inform all of your suppliers, including us at the earliest possible time.

Unfortunately, with the majority of cases, the deposit is non-refundable and you will not be able to claim this back as this secures your date as well as covers the costs of preparations we have to complete prior to the day.
